How We Make Non-Alcoholic Rosé in Australia

The secret is… We start by making wine.

That’s right - every drop of non-alcoholic sparkling rosé and still rosé begins life as a bonafide, full-alcohol wine made from the best grapes sourced from Australia’s premier wine-making regions. It’s what happens next that makes things really special.

Our talented Edenvale winemaking team uses an advanced, custom-modified spinning cone alcohol-removing technology to extract alcohol. This is where the magic happens, as it enables us to retain the flavours and aromas you associate with traditional wine.

FAQS

What is rosé wine?

This varietal develops its trademark pink hue from the winemaking process, which allows the grape juice to have limited contact with grape skin during maceration to absorb some of the colouring. Rosé can be made from Grenache, Shiraz, Merlot, Pinot Noir and more (here at Edenvale, we use Shiraz).

What is the best non-alcoholic rosé?

The best comes from Edenvale, where we stay true to the traditional wine-making techniques and processes. Our team is passionate about creating rosés that are faithful to the varietal. Both our rosé wines are multi-award winning.

Is rosé non-alcoholic wine sweet?

Whilst our rosés are not sweet wines, the Edenvale Moscato in this collection does have a sweeter flavour profile.
