Cucumber Elderflower Spritz mocktail with cucumber garnish, cut lemon and blossoms beside a bottle of Edenvale Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Elderflower cordial and cool cucumber juice turn our award-winning Edenvale Semillon Sauvignon Blanc into a pale, fragrant spritz built for slow sipping.

Fresh lemon lifts the wine's natural citrus and lychee character, and a full glass of crushed ice keeps this non-alcoholic spritz cold and easy to refill.

For this refreshing mocktail by The Mindful Mocktail, no shaker skills or hard-to-find ingredients are needed, just four things stirred together over ice.

What Is a Cucumber Elderflower Mocktail Spritz?

A Cucumber Elderflower Spritz is a non-alcoholic mocktail recipe that uses Edenvale Semillon Sauvignon Blanc in place of a traditional alcoholic base.

Cucumber juice adds a clean, garden-fresh note, elderflower cordial brings a delicate floral sweetness, and fresh lemon keeps the glass bright and structured rather than sweet.

Poured over crushed ice, it turns into a long, pale drink that suits a quiet afternoon just as easily as a table full of guests.

Mocktail Spritz Preparation and Serving Tips

  • Blitz and strain fresh cucumber for the cleanest flavour, or use a good bottled variety when making several at once.
  • For a fizzier finish, top the glass with a splash of soda water just before serving.
  • To prep ahead for a group, mix the cucumber juice, elderflower cordial and lemon juice in a jug and refrigerate, then add the wine and ice per glass at serving time.
  • Peel a thin cucumber ribbon lengthways with a vegetable peeler so it sits neatly around the inside of the glass.

Non-Alcoholic Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, the Spritz's Foundation

Grown on the southern tip of Western Australia in the Frankland River region, this wine ripens slowly in a cool climate that preserves its natural acidity.

Lemon-lime citrus, a soft lychee note and a hint of grassy freshness carry through after the alcohol is removed, giving the spritz its backbone.

It has won silver medals at the International Wine and Spirits Competition and the Global Low and No Wine Masters, and it has an alcohol content of less than 0.5% by volume.

Can You Make a Mocktail Spritz Ahead of Time?

Add the wine and ice only when you are ready to serve, so the mocktail spritz stays properly cold rather than watered down.
