Alcohol free options at your next event

Have you been participating in Dry July? Have you found it difficult to attend an event with alcohol free options?

For many people, a party just isn’t a celebration without a glass of wine or bubbly to cheers with. But it’s important to consider your guests who might be pregnant, who are driving, for religious reasons, or for health reasons can physically not drink alcohol. Let’s face it, water is not exactly the most exciting alternative, so if you organise some fabulous alcohol free options your guests who can’t drink will feel much more part of the occasion. And for those who are drinking, they have other options to keep hydrated throughout the day/night.

Alcohol free options to consider…(Also great to include at weddings)

Mocktails

You could have alcohol-free daiquiris or mojitos. You could even include a signature mocktail drink.

Mocktails ideas

Mockmosa: 2 parts orange juice, 3 parts
Virgin Mary: 8 tablespoons tomato juice, 1 tablespoon beef stock, 2 drops Tabasco, pinch of celery salt, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, serve with celery stalk
Cuddles on the beach: 6 tablespoons cranberry juice, 6 tablespoons grapefruit juice, 2 tablespoons peach nectar

You could have a bar where guests could put together their own lemonade; you could include strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, mint, limes or honey to add with it to get creative. 

 

Tea and coffee

If alcohol is not an option there is always caffeine to keep your guests going.
