Looking for a premium Australian wine to share at your next event? Then why not consider a non-alcoholic wine from the Edenvale Premium Reserve Selection range.
Crafted from the best quality grapes from Australia’s most famous wine regions, our Grenache Shiraz Mataro and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc are two exciting new additions to the Edenvale range. So, now there is even more choice than ever when it comes to enjoying premium alcohol-removed wine.
Offering the same complexity and variety as regular alcoholic wines, the flavour notes in these new releases are a true expression of their varietals, created for those who enjoy fine wine, without the effects of alcohol.
The expansion of non-alcoholic wines into the premium space sees a focus on regionality; with fruit intensity, superior wine quality and smaller batches produced at regional wineries, reflecting Edenvale’s ever-growing emphasis on a health-conscious lifestyle.
The Grenache Shiraz Mataro is a Rhone-style blend that has been produced from grapes grown in the Fleurieu Peninsula and Barossa Valley, both warmer climates and low yielding. The Fleurieu Peninsula wine region is widely known for its picturesque coastline, undulating slopes and rolling hills, and is home to some of Australia’s premier wineries. The region has a long history of viticulture, with the first vines being planted in the early 1800s, and its climate is ideal for growing a wide variety of grapes.
The Barossa Valley is undoubtedly one of Australia's most popular and stunning wine regions, and whilst famously regarded for its Shiraz, the region is also home to several other grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Mataro, Riesling and Semillon. The unique climate and soils of the Barossa Valley produce wines of unparalleled quality and character, well-balanced with complex flavours.
Fruit sourced for the Grenache Shiraz Mataro was selected for its varietal characteristics; floral, violet aromas on the Grenache, juicy mid-palate plum intensity on the Shiraz and orange rind, spice and charcuterie on the Mataro. With notes of violet, pastille raspberry and vanilla, as well as subtle hints of orange zest and sweet spice, this wine offers a well-balanced palate with firm tannins and a dry finish.
The Semillon Sauvignon Blanc has been crafted in the Frankland River wine region, located in the southern tip of Western Australia, and recognised for its excellence in producing some of the country’s finest wines. The region is also home to some of Australia's oldest vineyards, which date back to the early 1900s.
The Frankland River is renowned for its cool climate wines, influenced by the nearby Southern Ocean, which helps to create ideal growing conditions for the region's grapevines, producing wines with intense flavours, aromas and unique regional and varietal character. Moderated by the cool ocean breezes, fruit ripens slowly and evenly, allowing flavours to develop to their peak intensity, while preserving the crisp natural acidity. Wines from the region are all produced in small quantities and are highly sought-after by wine enthusiasts.
With the best quality fruit selected from the vineyard, the Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a delightful wine – bright and refreshing in taste, with lemon-lime citrus aromas, underlying lychee notes and a hint of grassy fields bringing the regionality to life.
Edenvale Premium Reserve Selection Grenache Shiraz Mataro and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc alcohol-removed wines contain less than 0.5% alcohol by volume, a level similar to that found in natural fruit juices.
