How to Serve Edenvale Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon carries more structure and tannin than a lighter red, so it's best enjoyed closer to room temperature, around 16 to 18°C, in a large-bowled glass that gives the wine room to open up. Let it sit for a few minutes after pouring, and the blackcurrant and cedar notes come through more clearly.
Store unopened bottles upright, away from direct light and heat. Once opened, reseal with the cap, keep it in the fridge, and it'll hold its character for a few days.

This style is sometimes labelled "low-alcohol," but Edenvale Cabernet Sauvignon is fully non-alcoholic, sitting at under 0.5% alcohol by volume.
A great Cabernet Sauvignon develops its colour, tannin and depth during fermentation, including through time spent on the grape skins. We allow this process to take place in full before gently removing the alcohol. Our alcohol removal process is designed to preserve the wine’s varietal fruit character and structure, resulting in a Cabernet with less than 0.5% alcohol by volume that retains a genuine wine experience.

Edenvale wines are very pleasant to drink, especially if one has to drive home afterwards. My favourite one is the Shiraz, but the entire range is lovely.
After over 2 years alcohol free it is a real treat to have found Edenvale wines. They taste great and it is so nice to be able to again have a glass with dinner or drinks with friends and not be the odd one out.
How much alcohol does Edenvale Cabernet Sauvignon actually contain?
Under 0.5% alcohol by volume. That counts as zero standard drinks, and it's about the same trace amount naturally found in a glass of fresh orange juice.
How does Cabernet Sauvignon compare to Shiraz or Merlot?
Cabernet Sauvignon is the firmer, more structured of the three, with pronounced tannins and a blackcurrant-driven flavour. Shiraz tends to be spicier and more peppery, while Merlot is softer and more approachable. If you like a red with real grip, Cabernet Sauvignon is usually the one to reach for.
Can I cook with Alcohol-Free Cabernet Sauvignon?
Yes. It works well in place of full-strength red in reductions, braises and pan sauces, adding the same depth of flavour without the alcohol cooking off. Try it in a red wine jus for lamb shanks or a rich beef ragu.
